For infections:
100 milligrams (mg) every 12 hours on the first day, then 100 mg once a day or 50 to 100 mg every 12 hours.
For the prevention of malaria:
100 milligrams (mg) once a day. You should take the first dose 1 or 2 days before travel to an area where malaria may occur, and continue taking the medicine every day throughout travel and for 4 weeks after you leave the malarious area.
For anthrax after possible exposure:
100 milligrams (mg) two times a day (taken every 12 hours) for 60 days.
For infections:
Dose is based on body weight and must be determined by your doctor. The dose is usually 4.4 milligrams (mg) per kilogram (kg) of body weight per day and divided into two doses on the first day of treatment. This is followed by 2.2 mg per kg of body weight per day, taken as a single dose or divided into two doses on the following days.

Dose is based on body weight and must be determined by your doctor. The dose is usually 2 milligrams (mg) per kilogram (kg) of body weight per day, taken as a single dose. Doxymycin® is not recommended to be used in children less than 8 years old.

In case of an emergency or an overdose, call your local emergency services or go to your nearest emergency room.
If you miss a dose of Doxymycin®, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and take your regular dose as scheduled. Do not take a double dose.
