You should not take dolfenal acid if you already have stomach bleeding or an active ulcer, or a bowel disorder such as ulcerative colitis, or if you have kidney disease.

Taking dolfenal acid during the last 3 months of pregnancy may harm the unborn baby. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or plan to become pregnant.

Dolfenal acid can pass into breast milk and may harm a nursing baby. You should not breastfeed while using this medicine.
