Albothyl® is commonly used for local treatment of cervicovaginal inflammations or infections and tissue damage.
Albothyl® is recommended to use in the evening. Firstly, the suppository is moistened with water and introduced deep into the vagina, preferably in the supine position. The additional use of a sanitary towel to avoid soiling of clothing and bedding.
Also, the doctor recommends that the duration of use depends on the nature and severity of the condition.
Albothyl® is best stored in the refrigerator. To prevent drug damage, do not freeze. There may be different brands of Albothyl® that may have different storage needs. In case of an emergency or an overdose, call your local emergency services (115) or go to your nearest emergency room.
If you miss a dose of Albothyl®, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and take your regular dose as scheduled. Do not take a double dose.
