Vastarel® is commonly used in adults as an add-on therapy for the symptomatic treatment of patients, for those who has stable angina pectoris and are inadequately controlled by or intolerant to first-line antianginal therapies.

Vastarel® is best stored at room temperature away from direct light and moisture. To prevent drug damage, you should not store Vastarel® in the bathroom or the freezer. There may be different brands of Vastarel® that may have different storage needs. It is important to always check the product package for instructions on storage, or ask your pharmacist. For safety, you should keep all medicines away from children and pets.
You should not flush Vastarel® down the toilet or pour them into a drain unless instructed to do so. It is important to properly discard this product when it is expired or no longer needed. Consult your pharmacist for more details about how to safely discard your product.

During pregnancy: it is preferable not to take this medicine during pregnancy. If you discover that you are pregnant whilst taking this medicine, consult your doctor as he alone can judge the necessity of continuing your treatment.
During breastfeeding: in the absence of data on excretion in breast milk, breastfeeding is not recommended during treatment.
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.

If you miss a dose of Vastarel®, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and take your regular dose as scheduled. Do not take a double dose.
